Georgetown Texas is a growing town with a lot of small town feeling.
Known as “The County Seat of Williamson County” downtown Georgetown is a historic area with tons of character. There are shops galore, restaurants, a theater with live performances and much more. Market Day is held on the Square on the 2nd Saturday of each month from March to November; you will find local vendors selling arts and crafts, plants, jewelry and in my opinion some of the best homemade jams and jellies around. Be sure to bring the family, every age is welcome.

Voted #2 in the 100 Best Places to Live by Money in 2008 probably helps explain why in the last few years Georgetown has grown. New subdivisions and additions to established subdivisions are common, as well as new commercial buildings. All of this growth has finally forced Georgetown to open a second high school in 2009, well, it is actually a 9th grade center for now and each year an additional grade will be added until there are 2 fully functioning high schools
